Sean Gilbert, CA, BComm
Sean graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of British Columbia in 1988 and joined MacKay LLP working in the areas of accounting and audit for public, private and not-for-profit enterprises. |
 After obtaining his Chartered Accountant designation, Sean entered private industry as a financial controller, gaining significant experience managing the day-to-day operational issues facing business owners and entrepreneurs today; including all aspects of accounting, financing, taxation, and information systems which are critical to an organization’s success.
Sean returned to public practice in 1994 and was admitted partner of MacKay LLP in January 2000. As the chair of the Vancouver-Surrey offices’ Entrepreneurial Group, Sean’s focus is on providing accounting, tax planning, succession planning, mergers and acquisitions consultation and general business advice to professionals, owner-managed businesses and entrepreneurs.
